By creating an account or using Mitlus ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Service. We may update these terms from time to time and will notify you via the platform when material changes are made.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 16 years old to use the Service (in compliance with GDPR age requirements for EU users). By using the Service, you represent that you meet this age requirement and have the legal capacity to enter into these terms.
3. Account Responsibilities
- You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
- You must provide accurate and complete information when creating your account.
- You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.

4. Subscription and Billing

- Subscriptions are billed monthly through Stripe. All prices are in USD and exclude applicable tax.
- All plans include a monthly AI credit allowance. An optional usage-based add-on is available for additional usage beyond included credits.
- You can manage your subscription, update payment methods, and view invoices through the Stripe customer portal.

5. Acceptable Use

6. Intellectual Property
- Your data: You retain all ownership rights to data you enter into the Service, including business plans, financial data, interview notes, and other startup content.
- Our platform: The Service, including its design, code, features, and branding, is owned by Mitlus and protected by intellectual property laws.
- AI-generated content: Content generated by AI features is provided as suggestions and assistance. We make no claims of ownership over AI-generated content, but we also make no warranties regarding its accuracy, originality, or fitness for any particular purpose. You are responsible for reviewing and validating any AI-generated content before relying on it.
- License to us: You grant us a limited license to process, store, and transmit your data as necessary to provide the Service, including sending data to AI sub-processors.
7. Data and Privacy
Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, and protect your personal data. By using the Service, you acknowledge that you have read and understood our Privacy Policy.
8. Service Availability

10. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, MITLUS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUE, WHETHER INCURRED DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, RESULTING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.
Our total liability for any claims arising from the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
11. Account Termination
- By you: You may delete your account at any time from your account settings. Account deletion follows a 30-day grace period during which you can cancel the deletion request.

Mitlus has no control over, and assumes no responsibility for, the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third-party websites or services. You acknowledge and agree that Mitlus shall not be responsible or liable for any damage or loss caused by or in connection with the use of any such content, goods, or services available on or through any such websites or services.
14. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Netherlands, without regard to conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these terms or the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in the Netherlands. This does not affect your statutory rights as a consumer under applicable EU law.
15. Miscellaneous
- Entire agreement: These Terms of Service, together with the Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Mitlus with respect to the Service, and supersede all prior or contemporaneous communications and proposals, whether oral, written, or electronic.
